Torres Legal contributes to the Blockchain & Crypto-Assets Global Practice Guide 2026 of Chambers and Partners
The way real estate projects are financed is evolving with the help of new technologies. That was one of the topics addressed by our Managing Partner, Héctor Torres, at Expo Construir 2026, through the conference “Construction 4.0: tokenization and the future of real estate financing.”
The presentation analyzed how digital assets are opening new alternatives to channel resources towards development initiatives, allowing for more flexible structures and a greater connection between business opportunities and sources of capital.
The topic is gaining more relevance as innovation makes its way into traditional markets, giving rise to models that a few years ago seemed distant, and today are beginning to form part of the conversation in various industries.

El Salvador moves toward ratifying the Riyadh Treaty on industrial designs
The Legislative Assembly received a bill submitted by the Executive Branch to ratify the Riyadh Treaty on Design Law, together with its regulations and the resolutions of its diplomatic conference. The treaty was adopted in Riyadh on November 22, 2024, and signed by El Salvador on October 31, 2025, at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
