El Salvador will become the technology capital in the new edition of Adopting Bitcoin, a conference to be held in San Salvador and El Zonte beach from November 15 to 17. During the event, Torres Legal attends an international meeting of digital investors in El Salvador.

Its objective is to create connections between personalities from the country and abroad, as well as to provoke the use of digital currencies in national territory. He will talk about Lightning Network, a peer-to-peer network conceived as a second layer system for Bitcoin that allows instant micropayments.

The event is being held for the second consecutive year. It will bring together educators and experts in Blockchain technology to address topics such as financial inclusion, progress of Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador, financial freedom, accessibility to digitization and digital mining.

Torres Legal will attend to listen to various speakers, educational spaces and workshops taught in English and Spanish. It will also be a special occasion to share ideas with developers, companies and enthusiasts to network and establish in-person connections.

“It is an opportunity for many foreign countries to get to know El Salvador, see the business climate, see the commercial movement that exists, solve their doubts and take advantage of tourism in our territory”, says our managing partner, Héctor Torres.

In that sense, Torres estimates that the function of the firm will be to establish contacts and clarify different doubts that people from other countries may have, with the objective of advising and supporting them in the opening of companies that promote financial and decentralized inclusion.

Adopting Bitcoin is an event organized by the company Bitfinex, a cryptocurrency exchange operator, and Galoy Inc, an organization dedicated to creating support infrastructures for businesses that want to join the crypto and lightning world.
