Torres Legal attended an international meeting of lawyers. Our managing partner, Héctor Torres, and our partner, Oscar Giralt, were part of the Young Partners Retreat Latin America, an event designed to empower the legal industry and prepare lawyers in their role as partners.

The constant training and professional growth of the firm’s members is an essential part of the vision with which we develop every day and allows us to establish clear differentiators in the regional legal world.

The Young Partners Retreat Latin America brings together different members of internationally recognized firms and consultants with experience in this type of situations. Professionals with extensive experience that enables them to advise the law firms with the greatest projection and growth in the legal industry.

Our managing partner stated that attending the event allowed them to improve the professional practice of the firm in the country based on the experience of other lawyers and law firms in the Latin American region with more developed practices.

“We were told about methods to improve the quality of services, to take a law firm into a business perspective. We also took advantage of the experience and more developed topics in other countries that allow us to advise our clients”, explained Torres.

The event was also aimed at associates on the way to be promoted to partner and partners with less than 5 years of being appointed. Talks and workshops were given to clarify the vision of how to be a partner, how to structure a business development, tools for structuring client-focused services and the state of the legal services markets.

Young Partners Retreat Latin America is a face-to-face program based in Miami, Florida. It will feature five facilitators and six speakers who are members of the most important firms in Miami.
