Experience

With an outstanding trajectory in the legal and administrative spheres, Marta Patiño currently serves as a Partner at Torres Legal, bringing extensive experience in advising national and international clients on public investment processes in El Salvador and other jurisdictions.

Her focus also revolves around providing technical assistance in legal and administrative areas, along with overseeing the monitoring and updating of legal regulations.

Her previous experience in the public sector includes a tenure as Coordinator of Ministerial Office at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of El Salvador. During this time, she spearheaded the administrative and operational management of the institution, overseeing strategic projects for the agricultural sector, audits from the Court of Auditors of the Republic, and offering key counsel to the Information Access Unit.

Her involvement in the financial realm was evident during her tenure at the Development Bank of El Salvador, where she provided legal opinions to the Legal Management, crafted strategic reports for the Presidency and Board of Directors, and meticulously tracked judicial processes related to the institution.
