With over 9 years of experience in the banking and finance sectors, her experience includes corporate governance, securitizations, investment funds, domestic and international loans, acquisition finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and corporate advisory services.

Annette possesses a profound understanding of her clients, making her the go-to lawyer for financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and international companies seeking guidance in navigating intricate financial and commercial transactions, both domestic or cross-border. Prior to joining Torres Legal, Annette was in-house lawyer for El Salvador’s largest commercial bank, actively participating in complex financial transactions, structuring of complex financial transactions, establishment and advisory of collateral trusts, securitizations, and providing advice on risk and securities market matters, and trust structuring.

Annette's extensive experience also includes working at Holland & Knight (Miami office) and other well-regarded international law firms, where she assisted clients with various legal matters, including syndicated lending, acquisition finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity and debt securities, and corporate advisory.
