For the second consecutive year, Torres Legal was recognized in The Legal 500, one of the most prestigious legal directories in the world, in the “Firms to Watch” category.

The Legal 500, which ranks the different firms in the region and in different countries in other continents, released its annual report. Torres Legal was considered in two of El Salvador’s practice areas: Dispute Resolution and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Our managing partner, Héctor Torres, said that this ranking is an important step for the firm and an opportunity to continue improving in the legal industry in El Salvador and in the Central American region, also indicates the recognition from the board of directors to the disruptive way the firm works.

“It is important that, for the second consecutive year, The Legal 500 considers us as Firm to Watch because it highlights that the firm’s performance has not been a one-time event, but that we are constantly maintaining quality standards and raising them,” he added.

Héctor Torres indicates that the firm’s legal team has taken it as a motivation to continue improving the service of all departments: “The next step is to be placed in the ranking, but also to recognize the professionals of the office”.

He argues that the firm’s growth is due to the joint work of all areas of Torres Legal, regardless of the hierarchical level of each member. “The key is that we have rethought how law firms should be in the future. Firms should not be focused on one, two or three partners, but should be focused on the whole team,” he said.

Torres also brought up the role that technology has played in the firm, as it has changed the way lawyers provide their services and simplified those tasks that hindered the firm’s work.
