The year 2022 has been a period of constant learning, growth and recognition for the Torres Legal team. One of our greatest achievements was the recognition in one of the most important international legal directories: Chambers and Partners. Our managing partner, Héctor Torres, has been ranked in the prestigious company for his work in the Dispute Resolution category.

Thanks to the good comments from clients, the documentation submitted to the company and the evaluators’ research, our expert was included in the final listing.

During this year, Torres Legal has also been considered, for the second consecutive year, by The Legal 500, one of the most prestigious legal directories in the world, as a “Firm to Watch”.

Our teams specialized in New Technologies, Corporate Law and Litigation and Arbitration were considered in two of El Salvador’s practice areas: Dispute Resolution and Mergers and Acquisitions.

But the year also brought recognition during the gala of the DyN 2022 Awards, organized by the Salvadoran magazine Derecho y Negocios. This is a specialized media and reference in the legal area that holds an annual event which brings together more than 500 leaders of the legal, business and public sector, where the best law firms and lawyers of the year are awarded.

Our legal team was awarded in three categories: “Technology Law Firm”, “Litigation and Arbitration Firm”; and one of our partners, Oscar Giralt, was awarded “Lawyer of the Year”.
